Does your employee hold SIA License?
Yes, all our officers employed by Manforce Security hold valid SIA by badge, issued by the Security Industry Authority. This license means they meet the SIA’s exacting standards and have been trained in
- The Security Industry, and roles and responsibilities of Security Officers, including Health and Safety at Work, the Law, Customer Care and Social Skills, and Security and Emergency Systems.
- Communication Skills and Conflict Management.
Do you screen your security officers?
Yes, all our officers are SIA (Security Industry Authority) licensed, which means they have been rigorously screened and tested to the SIA’s standards. However, we had our own screening procedure. We screened& vetted all our officers according to the British Standards BS7858.
What training do your officers undergo?

Do you comply with any quality standards?
We maintain a documented Quality System which meets the requirements of BS.EN.ISO 9001:2000. In addition, the Quality System addresses all of those requirements of both BS7499:2002 & BS7984:2001 and B7858:2006, which are relevant to the Company’s operation.
What about H&S training?
Manforce Security employees receive a planned induction which includes the health & safety, welfare policies, procedures and organization both of Manforce Security, and the Client, whichever policy has been adopted. Manforce Security provides the onsite induction to our employee and introduced to staff and welfare facilities. The site instructions are present on site for all officers. All the information about emergency exits and routes are pointed out in the site instructions.
Do you use agency security officers?
No, all our security officers are employed by Manforce Security.
What is ACPO and why is it important?
ACPO is the Association of Chief Police Officers. If a company doesn’t comply with ACPO policy, the police may withdraw response to the premises. ACPO requires that each site must have at least two key holders; one has to be available at all times, and both must have a phone, transport and the ability to respond quickly to a request to attend. In addition, you won’t be allowed to tell the Police about any alarm activations unless key holding information is available.
Using Manforce Security key holding services means you automatically comply with ACPO.
Do you practice TUPE?
Yes, we have an experience in TUPE and all issues surrounding the transfer of incumbent staff will be dealt professionally and sensitively.

What hours will I have to work?
The working hours vary according to the client requirement. The normal shift pattern is day shift, night shift and weekend shift. However, you may need to cover emergency cover in term of odd timings. All the shifts timings will be explained before.
Do I have to wear a uniform?
It depends on the service and client requirement. If you are required to wear a company uniform, the uniform will be issued on initial job offer from Manforce Security.
What is involved in the security screening process?
As part of the Manforce Security screening each and every individual application has been processed through a complete screening process. We take all personal or professional references and keep in our record. We also take all Educational references, if may apply. We take all previous employer references, if it may apply. The company will verify all your details going back five years, or back to the date you left school, university or previous job whichever is fall in the criteria of last 5 years. We check and take the credit report from the credit agencies. We aim to complete screening and vetting within 3 months.
Do you have other roles in the company?
Yes, the different opportunities arise time to time, depending on the company requirement. However, we advertise all opportunities in the local newspaper and job center plus.
